Early Start Strong Finish Preschool

My background supports my developmental beliefs, goals and program. I was born and raised in Louisiana and I have four siblings. I had the privilege to serve my country in the United States Naval Services. I moved to Colorado in December 1993 and I loved the Rocky Mountains and chose to make it my home for me and my family. I am very family orientated and cannot overstate the value of community. I am also the parent of 7 children, who includes two children whom I have adopted and eight grandchildren.
I started the Early Start Strong Finish family childcare/preschool September 2005. My other experiences working with children include lead teacher for three years with the Head Start Program in Aurora, an assistant teacher for two years with children ages birth to 5 years and as a substitute teacher with Denver Public Schools for one year. I offered a large licensed family childcare home for five years and have decided to repeat that experience.
I received my Bachelor s degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver in Behavioral Science with a focus in Psychology and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master of Education from Regis University in the fall of 2012 and I also have a certification in Language and Literacy from Regis University.
