Located in a beautiful, safe neighborhood known as Westchester Hills, we are located in a residence with the entire first floor dedicated to the children (with no TV), providing a preschool look and feel in a home away from home, comfortable feeling. With well trained, well educated staff we are committed to providing children with BEST head start and readiness for Pre-K. The curriculum, activities and overall program we provide along with teacher qualifications and trainings and NO TV, make us THE BEST licensed, group family child care in the area! With continuous improvement and training, we ensure children are well prepared for Pre-K. Every year as children test for and get into the schools of their choice, including Pearls, it reminds us that we are creating a strong foundation for a life of learning.
As part of our commitment to you, we offer information on curriculum, maintain a parent/classroom website (for enrolled families only), send newsletters and articles of interest, do quarterly child assessments, maintain portfolios (which you take with you when your child leaves), and provide daily "hi mama". We have been in business since 2007 and earned awards in both 2011 and 2017 for excellence in early care and learning. Please check the ocfs.gov website for violation information on us (any ANY center you are looking to choose) and if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them!
The owner is a committed early education advocate having participated on boards such as the Child Care Council of Westchester, Inc., and Education Redesign Team in Yonkers at the request of the Mayor.
