Eagles Nest Children's Center

The Eagle's Nest Children's Center serves children ages 6 weeks through 4 years old from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm weekdays. This center is a non-profit ministry of The Methodist Home on Pierce Avenue. Due to the resources available on the 24 acres in the middle of Macon, the center has access to nurses, a sophisticated training department, green space park areas, a gym, water play, social workers, chaplain, two sanctuaries, and a variety of music.

The Eagle's Nest Children's Center is an environment that serves up to 40 children so the teachers can encourage each child's individual development socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually. We believe that each child learns through discovery in their play experiences. Learning centers and a robust curriculum provide enrichment and support to meet the needs of each individual child.

The Lead Teachers at Eagle's Nest Children's Center are certified and have a long tenure of working with at the center. They are led by a Director of fourteen years with expertise in Early Childhood Education who has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Administration. The Center, through, The Methodist Home is proud to provide the teachers with competitive wages and a full array of benefits.

Parents are encouraged to participate in all aspects of their child s learning and to join us in the celebrations of the seasons. Live observation on social media devices is provided to parents in all the classrooms and play areas.

The Eagle's Nest Children's Center is Quality Rated by the State of Georgia. Since opening in 1999, Eagle s Nest has always voluntarily achieved national accreditation by Council on Accreditation and EAGLE Accreditation (of the United Methodist Association).
