E11 is the only Reggio Emilia inspired center for creativity in Colorado Springs. We provide a daily preschool & after school program: nurturing creative thinking skills through artistic endeavors such as visual, dramatic and the culinary arts.
E11 is a European style center directed by the British husband and wife team; Alain and Maria Navaratne who have two creative children of their own, aged 14 and 8.
Maria and Alain's mission is to put creativity back into the hands and minds of children as young as 2 through to 11 years old.
E11's program incorporates an ethos of creative reuse. Children as young as 3 use low temperature glue guns to repurpose materials into sculptures and paint on canvas rather than paper.
E11 was Alain and Maria's zip code in England; a vibrant, diverse and artistic community in East London.
