Maybe I hired the wrong company, but if you need more than a dusting this is not the cleaning firm to hire.

I contracted Dusting Pro for a Move In / Move Out cleaning; a deep cleaning of an apartment between tenants, which is advertised on their website.

The 1500 sq ft space was completely emptied. All furnishings and personal items were removed beforehand and it hadn't been occupied for about a year. There was dust, dirt, and some pet stains that needed to be cleaned.

Nadia came and did a walk-through of the space before quoting $450 for a one-day cleaning job to completely clean the apartment.

Expectations were set before the job was scheduled, and included floors, walls, stairs, sinks, tub, windows, etc.

Following the cleaning, I called Nadia to express some dissatisfaction with the final result. The wooden floors were not clean. Spots on the walls were not cleaned. The back stairs within the apartment were not even touched. And the window wells were still filthy.

Her explanation was that they couldn't clean those effectively without causing damage to the paint/floors, so they weren't done.

Unacceptable.

I ended up having to get someone else to come in and with a tiny bit of water and a sponge, those spots came clean.

Granted, this company may be fantastic at weekly, regularly scheduled cleanings. I don't know. But I would certainly not use them again for a Move In / Move Out service or any kind of deep cleaning.
