Due to Covid-19 I no longer have a job. I have been looking, but very drawn to helping elderly as I have in the past. I have worked with Alzheimer/Dementia patients as an activities director. I truly enjoyed giving them some enjoyment. Even if it was just in the moment. I have now found there seems a need for many who are no longer able to drive themselves, for one reason. This was brought to my attention by a couple of dear friends who call on me often, for shopping trips, hair and doctor appointments. In fact onealways says, "Driving Miss Daisy," which I find rewarding, being able to help. No one wants to give up their independence and those of us with children don't want to have to call on them when they have their own lives and family. Plus, most work and shopping and hair appointments have to be worked into their schedules on weekends. I'm not looking to get rich, just a small charge for a little running money and gas of course. I know there is a need for this type of service, just getting the word out is the biggest thing. I know there are several ride shares, but I want to offer a more personal shopper/friend experience.
