Services may include but not limited to the following:
Breastfeeding Support, Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping, Laundry for Family, Errands for Family, Newborn Care, Sibling Care, Emotional Support, Information and Referrals, Instruction in Newborn Care.

$125 for a 4-hour time slot

My training comes from DONA International (Doulas of North America). Becoming certified under DONA has equipped me with helpful skills in further understanding what new moms will need in order to flourish to their greatest potential. Although my personal background has prepared me for many newborn scenarios, with my official certification, I am better able to assist my new moms in their fourth trimester, the first three months after birth.

Whether you are a first time new mom or a third, fourth, or fifth timer, a doula can help you transition accordingly. Most doulas will assist a first time mom but in my experience, when you first began to juggle more than one baby, the help of a doula can be priceless. Our services and assistance will be something that no matter if you are a first time mom newbie or a mom of many veteran, we will create a settled and positive transition environment for you and your family during your fourth trimester.

After attaining two bachelor degrees from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Elementary Education and Psychology, I began my family with my husband. In addition to opening her own business, I began to grow my family of six children. While raising my children was the main priority in my life, I continued to be a business owner for 12 years while also being home in the day to raise my children. Using my degree in Elementary Education, I began homeschooling my children starting with my first and continues to this day with my youngest. My children range in ages from 20 years old to seven years old. My love for children has led me in the path of becoming a doula. It has always been my passion in which now I have time to pursue.
