I am an EEC licensed family home daycare, with my CDA credential. For more than 20 years I have been running daycare/school in my home, and I continue to do the job because I love it and it's very rewarding. I enjoy teaching the children their letters, numbers, colors, nursery rhymes, manners, math skills, and how to read, well before kindergarten. The children in my care also become very athletic. We are outside everyday: running, jumping, climbing, swinging, sliding(winter) and riding bikes. I take them to the local parks via stroller, and each walk becomes a science adventure. I believe teaching the children through play is a healthy way to learn.
