I am a mother of a 22-year-old and have been caring for young children in my home for 15-plus years. I enjoy children greatly and take tremendous joy from their successes. I provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and educational environment for children from 6 months to 4 years of age. I provide a full, highly-nutritious breakfast and lunch for the children, as well as snacks between meals. I also provide educational, creative and outdoor activities on a daily basis that are tailored to the age of the children in my care, including reading-readiness, age-appropriate science-related projects, art and music literacy, etc. Child-Literacy Trained and Trained in Child Nutritional and Dietary Needs through CACFP. CPR Trained at Fairview Wellness Center. My home daycare is fire and health department inspected for safety. I also maintain a background check through the City of Lakewood. Although my profile states an hourly rate, I do not work hourly. I am open weekdays, M-F, from 7:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m. I charge a weekly rate to maintain an opening for each child.
