About Us
District Dogs was founded in 2013 and we are more than just the average pet services company. We provide individualized care for our clients and a full range of pet sitting services in Washington, DC.

Currently, we primarily focus on dog walking, but as District Dogs continues to grow we will add additional walkers and eventually grow into a brick and mortar store to provide full daycare and boarding services.

Who We Are
Jacob is the owner and founder of District Dogs. He left his professional career in finance to realize his dream and start District Dogs. Jacob has a big passion for what he does and has a wealth of experience with many different types of animals. He has experience in dog walking, dog sitting, breeding, and training dogs. He also has had almost every small pet imaginable during his life. Whatever needs you and your pet have Jacob will be able to meet them.

Jacob will be the primary care provider, but as District Dogs expands we will add background checked and trustworthy employees to the company.

Safety
District Dogs is fully licensed, insured, and bonded. Our insurance is through Pet Sitters Associates and covers all of our employees. On top of this, District Dogs requires all employees to be dog and cat CPR and first aid certified.
