Discovery Child Development Center

We offer quality care at affordable rates for children Birth (six weeks) through School Age. We offer drop in, part time, and full time care for infants through five years of age. We offer a before and after school program, drop in, and summer care for school age children. The center and all staff members are licensed through the MSDE, which means teachers have at minimum a 90hours state certification in Early Childhood a Development, we participate in regular continued educational training, and all staff have passed criminal background checks and are First Aid/CPR certified. Our curriculum is aligned with Maryland state standards and each teacher offers her students a mix of activities which include free play, teacher directed activities, music and movement, arts and crafts, and educational activities. The director has a Masters Degree in Education and many years of classroom experience ranging from Early Childhood Education to Middle School.
