Dirt & Dinosaurs

Hello! I am a mom of two, a 4 year old and 2 month old. I have been working in early childhood education my entire professional career. I love that it has helped train me for motherhood and now allows me to stay home with my babies. My work history includes day care center director, preschool teacher, camp counselor, and full time nanny. I really enjoy welcoming children into my home to work with them and their families on a more personal level.

My teaching philosophy is very much play to learn every day! Our theme based curriculum allows for many opportunities to learn and create in a multitude of ways. Children are given the opportunity to explore a variety of concepts through hands on play in a center based classroom and playroom. They are free to make discoveries in our science center, develop handwriting and language skills in the writing center, build a strong foundation in the math center, and participate in art every day. Our classroom is completely battery and screen free. All of the toys have been carefully selected for open ended play.

We also like to spend lots of time outside, weather permitting, running around our fenced in backyard, riding bikes, or messy art projects. Sensory based play is a big hit at our house!

Full time rate is $200/week per child
Part time $50/day
Includes all their meals and curriculum supplies
