I am a Wa state licensed Childcare provider for 21 years. I live in North Edmonds, in the Mukilteo School District. Myself and each of my immediate family have Successful Background Checks . I am also a Special Educator, havingvesrned my B.Ed., Special Education Endorsement and M.Ed. In Curriculum and Instruction, having worked with early childhood developmental education. I attend continuing education classes annually to keep up on the latest research and trends. I am certified in Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED and Basic First Aid, Back To Sleep protocols, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPS Reporting Protocols, and Protocols for administering medications when needed. I keep up with the latest brain research, out of UW, on infants/children, the brain, learning, music and movement. We come and go in my vehicle, all children, secured in car seats and boosters as dictated by WA law. We visit the grocery store, the beach, the park, elderly residents in elder care homes, family members, zoo, science center, etc...
We learn by play and experiential, hands on activities. This includes infants, by helping them explore their world in a multi sensory approach. My hope is that your family becomes an extension of my family.
