Diana's Day Care

I offer a small in-home day care for 1-3 children for part time or full time hours as well as after school care for older kids. Discount rates available for multiple kids from the same family. Below are my per day rates:
1 kid (0-4 yrs): 0-3 hrs $10 3.25-5.0 hrs $15 5.25-8.0 hrs $25
2 kids (0-4 yrs): 0-3 hrs $15 3.25-5.0 hrs $25 5.25-8.0 hrs $40
1 kid (5+ yrs): 0-3 hrs $10 3.25-5.0 hrs $14 5.25-8.0 hrs $23
I also offer upgrade options as a convenience for parents who do not want to worry about bringing a diaper bag with them every day. Option 1: Diapers and Wipes additional $10 per week. Option 2: Formula and bottles additional $5-$10 per week depending on brand of formula used. Parents can choose neither option and provide their own supplies or they can choose one or both options at a small additional weekly cost. Meals and snacks are included in the cost.
I have been a working mother for 12 years and I have three boys of my own so I understand how hard it can be to leave your children in another person's care while you go to work or school. My years of experience as a mother and business professional gives me insight and understanding that other day cares may lack.
My house is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood on a street without a lot of car traffic. It has a fully fenced, large back yard with lots of room to run and play. I try to get the kids up and moving as a group as often as the weather allows. We visit local parks, play outside and go for walks often.
Animals are important to our family and we believe they enrich the learning experience for kids who interact with them. They teach kids to be gentle and caring to something smaller than they are.
Jake is our 1 year old short hair, small dog (named for the dog on Adventure Time) that we adopted this winter. He loves kids. I keep him kenneled in the house unless it is potty time or if the kids want to play with him.
Charlie is our black and white female cat (named for Charlie Chaplan) with a mustache. She loves her mustache because it looks like the batman symbol and spends most of her time outside fighting crime but she is also Jake's best friend and comes inside when she wants to play with him or sleep.
We also have chickens and the kids love to help feed them and collect their eggs. They are kept in a separate fenced in coop and love to see kids come out back because they always think they are going to be fed.
