Diakonia Preschools operates 5 non-profit preschools in Colorado Springs, 3 of the sites also offer before and after care. These are Meadows Park Community Preschool, Westside Community Preschool and Deerfield Hills Community Preschool. We accept CCCAP and we offer a sliding scale for tuition assistance. We are state-licensed. Two of our preschools are NAEYC accredited. All preschools are enrolled in the CO SHINES program. Two are rated Level 4; the other 3 sites levels are under evaluation and we anticipate Level 4s for these sites as well.
Our preschools are family focused and community based. We provide a strong foundation for a successful transition to Kindergarten. Our curriculum includes Touch Math, Zoophonics, Handwriting without Tears, Dinosaur School, Musik Garten, and 5210 (Nutrition) and I am Moving, I am Learning.
