Diablo Hills Country School s purpose is to provide an outstanding academic education for the students. Our aim is to assist each child in developing mentally, emotionally, intellectually, socially and physically so that he or she may become a responsible and happy person in this world.
All children who enter Diablo Hills Country School must be at least 18 months old. Before and after school day care is also provided for school-age children. There is no additional charge for school age children who utilize transportation services to and from elementary school. School hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Our goals are:
* To be responsive to the needs and individual characteristics of each student.
* To cultivate in each student the desire and ability to discipline themselves, and to respect the authority of their parents and teachers along with the rights of their fellow students.
* To provide a complete curriculum which will facilitate teaching and learning with proper emphasis on a strong individualized program.
* To encourage each child to progress at his or her own rate of development levels, rather than by age.
* To develop self motivation by creating a positive learning atmosphere.
