Devine Daycare

My name is Mikaela Devine and I am ecstatic about having an in home daycare. I have been working as an admin for the past 5 years, but having my own kids has only increased my desire to stay home and provide quality care for them. In addition, as I have searched for childcare for my little ones I have found how expensive it is to find the quality care I desire.

I have also seen how paying a lower cost means you get what you pay for which is why I am committed to providing both affordability and quality. I am committed to providing healthy meals and snacks, stimulating activities both indoor and outdoor, and learning experiences for kids of all ages.

I spent 4 years in college working at the top rated child development center at the
University of Oregon. My experience also includes many years of assisting and volunteering in an in home daycare as well as being the lead school age teacher and eventually the lead infant teacher in a child development center setting. In addition, I have volunteered with children and youth ministries in a church setting for the past 6 years.

My husband, Justin, works at Christian Community Presbyterian Church, in Bowie and is the Director of Youth and Education there. We have two kids, Ainsley (18 months) and Reagan (2 months). We are passionate about helping children and youth grow and gain an understanding of the world around them.

Devine Daycare also provides after school tutoring or homework help for all subjects and all ages.
