Delphi Academy Preschool

At Delphi, we understand just how vital it is to parents for their young ones to be in a safe and caring environment. Our preschool is a home away from home and our teachers focus on creating a safe, warm, loving and nurturing environment where children can feel secure and loved at all times. This type of ambiance makes it easy for children to learn to make friends and develop social skills that will empower them for life.

Each child is unique and develops individually. He or she needs mastery at each level before moving to the next. Development might be quick in some areas and slow in others. We place equal importance on all major areas of development: physical, social, emotional, cognitive and aesthetic.

Children are motivated by their own desire to make sense of their world. They learn through interaction with the materials and people in their environment. Play provides this interaction. Learning occurs when a child is actively involved. This is why we believe in hands on experience, learning creatively and learning through play.

Our program starts at 18 months old in a class with a teacher to child ratio of 1:16 our 2, 3, and 4 year old classes have a teacher to student ratio of 1:12.
