I have over 20 years providing therapy to adults and kids. I have experience working therapeutically with kids and adults on many issues including: ADHD, anxiety, depression, social relations, learning disabilities, self-esteem, divorce, food allergies, physical disabilities, identity, grief, anger and impulse control, relationship and communication issues. I am active and fit and love to look for creative ways to solve problems. I am experienced at working on individual goals and treatment plans. I help kids, teens and adults find ways to feel better about themselves and feel more in control of their lives. I understand the stress of balancing work and family and work well with parents in high pressure jobs and special care needs. I treat my clients with kindness, respect and can give plenty of individual attention. I love playing games, reading books, taking walks, listening attentively and helping to keep life running on a healthy schedule. I have lived and worked in the East Bay for 25 years and have raised two kids of my own. I have worked in school and hospital settings, have great social and organizational skills. I appreciate diversity and the uniqueness of each individual and each family and the dynamics of a healthy family system, whether it be two working parents, single parents, adoptive or foster parents or parents balancing caring for kids and aging parents.
