Looking after children is a very sensitive job and people who provide in-home child care must be very hands-on in looking after children and their needs.

I strive to offer the children with activities that support bodily (fine and gross-motor), emotional, academic and social growth. I hold myself to a high standard of accountability for aiding children in discovering interests, increasing talents, building confidence and learning how to correctly work independently and within a group. I give equal individual attention to each child under my supervision.

My Responsibilities Include:
Take specific orders from parents about their children s activities
Lead children through recreational activities and provide them with instructions on safe-play
Instruct children in habits conforming to health such as toileting and eating
Provide constant care to infants and babies by ensuring their cleanliness and hygiene change diapers and give baths
Nurture children while their parents are away at work by providing them with a sense of security
Supervise children while they get ready for school and escort them to their rides or school
Organize and implement curriculum that stimulates young minds
Chart out a nutritional plan with parents detailing each child s nutritional needs
Make-certain that all planned activities stimulate children s physical, mental, emotional and social growth and awareness
Prepare or assist in preparing children s meals and make sure that they are fed on time
Determine children s cause for distress and comfort them when they cry
Schedule meetings with parents to discuss children s progress and any observations
Monitor children for behavioral changes and report variations to parents
Supervise older children when they return from school and assist them with their homework
Perform limited housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning and washing
Practice CPR and First Aid in case of emergencies
