The philosophy of Day Care Plus is: through the teaching of social skills, toddlers and preschool-age children will have the necessary foundation on which academics can be placed. We at Day Care Plus also believe that a major component of being social is having the command of language. The ability to pronounce words, speak in complete sentences with a large vocabulary and to answer and ask questions relating to a large array of subject matters is an essential ingredient of not only academics but of every day life.
Therefore, our primary goal and objective is to nurture the development of social skills, such as working within groups; listening to directions; learning patience, tolerance and manners; sharing; and self control. Ultimately, our most important goal is to transition our preschool children into Kindergarten with the necessary social and language skills that will keep them competitive among their peers.
