About
I have over 18 years of experience working with young people as a home daycare provider, babysitter, nanny, and camp counselor. I recently moved back to the Ithaca area after running a home childcare in Santa Fe, New Mexico for three years.
A little about me: I love exploring arts, theater, and the natural world with kids, and I have found that laughter and play are excellent pathways toward self-confidence and emotional intelligence for young people. Currently, I am infant and child CPR and First Aid certified and I have some coursework in Early Childhood Ed. I have 12 years of childcare references from great Santa Fe families, and I also worked as the camp counselor for Wise Fool New Mexico's circus arts summer programs for six years. I have peer-counseling and mediation background and am proficient in Spanish.
I am available for nannying, daycare and babysitting.
