D & D Daycare Center

Here at D & D Day Care our first priority is providing a safe and nurturing environment for our kids to thrive in. We have a spacious house and a backyard area with grass and outdoor play toys for students to engage in.

Along with play time we also focus on teaching: reading and written skills, counting, social skills, parallel play skills, and self-care techniques for independence. My assistant and I also have our kids engage in reading time, dance/music time and circle time to foster social skills and boost confidence, curiosity and communication in all of our kids.
Here at D & D Day Care we also have our kids engage in pretend play activities, in order to cultivate higher thinking abilities and language skills.
We always focus on teaching age appropriate materials for our students, with the goal of getting them to a standard where they are ready to enter kindergarten.

Extra Curricular Activities:
All the students of D&D Day Care and parents take two field trips each year, that is funded by us, in order for students to learn more about the world they live in and cultivate a desire to explore, think and learn. This activity also helps students bond with each other and support each other, which I think is also beneficial.

Also at the end of the year, D & D DayCare holds it's annual Christmas Party where students are given the opportunity to sing CHristmas Carols and dance to show off their talents to parents and extended family. This activity helps our kids grow more confident in themselves and their talents, so this is one of our favorite end of the year activities. We also give parents folders of their kid's work, so that parents have the opportunity to have a record of their child's skill level each year.
