D. Child Care

I run a state licensed home learning center by Sea World. I offer high quality care and starfall pre k curriculum for children ages 2-5. I also offer care for babies, which is provided by an employee the majority of the day. My bachelor's degree is Early Childhood and I have been teaching and caring for babies and young children (including first grade in public school and director of daycare centers) for over fifteen years. The focus in my classroom is to get the children ready for kindergarten and use a wide variety of learning styles. Direct teaching, learning centers, and free play are used throughout the day. At this age, I believe learning should be fun and we learn through play and interacting with each other and wide selection of manipulatives. I also offer a USDA approved menu.
