I would like to watch up to 3 children of any age in my home throughout the school year. Optional services include: pick-up, drop-off, tutoring, cheerleading lessons, drop-in care, overnight care, pet-sitting, or anything else I can do for you to help you out and keep your mind at ease while you are busy at work.
ABOUT ME: I have a Bachelor's in Education Studies and plan to teach in the area next school year. Eventually, I hope to work in the Special Education field. I love all children, especially the shy ones. I was shy as a kid and I like it when I can get children to open up to me because I realize how special that is. My own children have taught me the values of abounding patience and treasuring time together. I hope after meeting me, you will feel confident that I will treat your children as my own.
ABOUT MY HOME AND FAMILY: I have two daughters ages 4 and 8 who would love some kids to play with. My oldest goes to Mildred Elementary, so if your child does too, I can bring your child home with us until you can pick them up.
I taught an art class at my daughter's school last year in Sunnyvale, and I still have a ton of craft supplies left over for busy hands. We also have ABC Mouse for the younger kids, 2 tablets w/ wifi, Netflix, Dish, Leap Pads/Books, flash cards, plus a ton of indoor and outdoor toys and games to keep your kids engaged and entertained while they are with us. The house is a blank slate of open play room and our home is on over an acre, so they have plenty of play space outside as well.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Drop-ins are welcome, and even overnight care if you need it. My SUV sits a driver plus 6, so I can do field trips or transportation. Our lab is 100% kid-tolerant, friendly, and stays outside. (I wouldn't have her if that were not the case).
