Creative Learning Childcare

Creative Learning Childcare is a licensed, family daycare located on Gerry Street, just blocks from Emricson Park, Woodstock Square and Dean Street Elementary School.

I've worked with children over the past 23 years from ages 5 weeks to 18 years (special needs included).

I owned a licensed daycare in Palatine and Barrington many years ago, and cared for and watched grow to adulthood many wonderful children. Several of whom graduated college and went on to very lucrative careers, (2 doctors). How can anyone ask for a better job than this!?
When I moved to Woodstock 5 years ago, I went back to college and received my certificate in Early Childhood Education, along with taking many other courses associated with early childhood growth and development, attending seminars, and continue to take online courses through INCCRRA. I then worked with the school district for several years as a building supervisor with the after school program at both Dean street and Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center with preschool through 5th grade children. I then made the decision to once again open an in-home childcare in order to better serve the families whose children I care for.

With over 20 years' experience in the child care field, certificates in Early Childhood growth/development, First Aid/CPR-certified, and fully licensed in the state of Illinois, CLC is dedicated to making your child and family feel like part of our family, with low maximum enrollment, your child will receive more one-on-one care to better serve their needs.

I have a daily schedule which includes but not limited to, free outdoor/indoor imaginative play, sensory play, reading, math, and writing skill development, music and movement, arts and crafts, science, and dedicated homework time!
*Movie, games and special snack Fridays!

Competitive rates, 1/2 off 1 week following 3 consecutive months of care, as well as 10% off second child.

Located near downtown Woodstock, Emricson Park and Dean Street School, with drop-off/pick-up from Dean Street daily for Dean students.

Full day, part day and before/after school rates available for infants, toddlers and school-aged children. Please inquire.
