I am a 40 year old woman who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives. This world we live in can be so cruel and as a parent of an 18 year old, I still worry about her well being when she is away from home. I offer love, care and stability. I am a previous Music Education student from Howard University, a Religious Studies student at Towson University and I've received my teaching experience and certification from both Howard University, Howard Community College, National Institutes of Health (CPR/AED) and ChildCare Links.
Rest assured, I will have your child's best interest at heart. I've created an environment that feels "just like home" in my home, home cooked nutritious meals and snacks, academia, fine and gross motor skills, lots of hugs and the basic of music. Your child could be the next Mozart or Bach.
Each child will have their own instrument (to take home-sorry parents) and they will become acclimated to music notes, etc. while using my piano.
Another area that I will focus on is self-esteem. It is very important to me that our children learn to love themselves, believe in themselves and respect themselves.
