As an individual, I have years of early childhood experience. I have worked in public and private preschools and I also worked as a Educator with Parents as Teachers- a in home visitation program.
I run a in home child care program for children aged 2 thru school age and also provide after school care. I have no doubt that you will be pleased with the structured-education focused program that I run. I allow plenty of outdoor and free play time but my main focus is for your child to learn and grow to the full potential. I provide age appropriate activties geared towards assuring that children are meeting their developmental milestones. It is very important that children are skill ready to start school when the time comes around and there are many activities that all children can work on in order to make sure that they are prepared. All activities are age appropriate and again geared to meeting their developmental milestones.
I only keep 3 children which means that I am not required to be licensed through the state of Georgia. I do this because I feel that children appreciate and adapt better in these smaller settings.
