Creative Beginnings

Creative Beginnings mission is to provide each child with a strong foundation in critical thinking skills, literacy skills, math/science skills, and social-emotional development. The program will ensure daily that the environment is organized to provide five basic categories of activities, including quiet/calm activities, structured activities, dramatic play activities and large motor activities to ensure children's space is ever changing, not limited or defined by furniture or other materials. We will maintain a safe, healthy, learning environment for our children that promotes life long learning.

Our philosophy is based on the assumptions that parents are the primary teachers, that parental support in our program is essential. We are aware that in order to reach our goals we must work cooperatively with parents, sharing in our mutual interest in the child. We believe that each child is unique and deserves respect, consistency, caring and a challenging environment to grow to be a secure adult and that history and culture are important for children to gain a clear sense of self.
