Don, Gabe, and the full team at CCC are our favorites! We've been taking Lenny to their facility since he was just a young pup. The peace of mind while we're out of town knowing our little guy is safe and enjoying a structured, supervised playtime with other dogs is invaluable. Dozer, Farrah, and Bella are the best dog role models we could ask for. Lenny goes bonkers with excitement when we arrive at the property because he truly loves visiting. The photos and updates shared by the team are one of our favorite parts and help with the anxiety of leaving your pup for an extended period of time. I'd recommend CCC to any dog owner looking for boarding or training services!

Our little Chihuahua comes home stressed to the max every time she stays here. Unfortunately, the owner seems to think it's all our fault. Funny how she does great with us but comes home with a lot of bad behaviors and a bad attitude after staying with him.

I met Don (owner of the Crafty Canine Club) one night when I walked over to his place. I was attempting to meet him and learn more about his training programs, but like I said it was late and he wasn't home. As Harley (my dog) and I walked home, a Jeep pulled up alongside us. Don had tracked us down so he could introduce himself (how about that for some customer service!). Apparently he was headed for the movies, but when he heard that somebody had stopped by he interrupted his plans to come meet us.

Since that first meeting, Don has done nothing but show focused dedication to his craft: training and loving dogs. At his recommendation, we elected to have Harley stay for a free 2 day boarding program where he gets a chance to evaluate the dog and develop a training plan for them. After that two day stint, Harley came back a better listener, A better leash walker, and more responsive when called. Needless to say we will be using Crafty Canine Club for all of our boarding and training needs. I'm excited to say that I trust Don completely with my dog as he has loads of empathy and compassion for the dogs he owns and the dogs he trains/boards!

My dog was very scared of other dogs and also experienced separation anxiety. When she saw other dogs she would act out defensively. Within 2 days she was playing with the other dogs and was in the yard with the entire group! The second time I dropped her off she was so excited to be there she could care less that I was even leaving. 10/10 would recommend this facility. Don does an amazing job with the pups and really goes above and beyond.

What a great place! We leave our anxious wonderful dog with Crafty Canine Club and have no worries. We get updates and pictures daily while we are away. They have a big, open and inviting area for the dogs to play. Our dog however prefers to rest and get some loving which she gets plenty of. They might be a little more expensive but I believe the additional cost is worth it. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Don really understood my dog and the behavior(s) he was exhibiting. He was constantly asking the right questions to try and work to the root of the issues, instead of just offering vague advice that I've gotten from other trainers. The biggest issue was his anxiety, barking, and lack of social skills.

We have found that boundaries at home were / are the main issue, and we made a plan to enforce them at home! This really helped me to feel confident in how I should handle certain situations.

The manual they made for customers also gives a really good summary of the methodology they use. Basically no training begins until a relationship is fostered, which I think is really cool. It's a relationship of trust and communication, not treats and constant praise.

I have already noticed a difference in my dog with the changes Don recommended in the behavior assessment. I'm going to follow up on the two free night promo to work on socialization for my pup!

If you are looking for an awesome , safe facility for your pups to be boarded or just play for the day, Craft Canine Club is your spot. Not only do they have a large fully enclosed turf area for the dogs to play , but the trained staff oversees. everything to make sure playtime stays fun and incident-free.

I have sent both of my dogs to CCC to be boarded and received direct contact from the owner Don throughout their entire stay. He was great with giving updates and sending pics/videos of the pups having fun.

I originally found CCC to get help with my newly adopted dog Blue. He was having issues with separation anxiety and crate training. Don has gone above and beyond with training for Blue and we have some much improvement since sending Blue to see Don for training.

Don and his staff always go above and beyond to treat my dog line family. I really appreciate his approach to training, and the proof is in the pudding. Anytime my dog visits, it comes back better behaved and more confident. If only I had the skills to keep it up

Crafty Canine Club did an awesome job with my new fearful rescue dog!

We were super nervous at first, because we didn't know how she would do in a new environment and around dogs for the first time since being in our home.

However, Don and his team sent us lots of updates, and made the whole experience stress free. We will definitely be back for some more training and this will always be our go to boarding facility

Don is so wonderful with dogs and has helped our golden retriever puppy become a confident and mannerly dog. He provides excellent tips and sends fun photos and videos while we are away. I fully trust him to take care of our beloved pup.

Don and his team are great. He was very helpful in figuring out what was going on with my dog, and offering practical advice.

The free behavior assessment was really helpful as well! At $60/night for boarding with 4 to 6 hours of playtime and daily treats, you can't go wrong. Thank you for taking care of my fur baby!

In 2019 we got our first puppy, a happy go lucky and full of energy corgi. Also in 2019 we had a 17 day vacation planned, and needed somewhere for her to stay. After seeing Crafty Canine's huge outdoor turf play area, I had a feeling this would be the perfect place for our corgi. Being a 6 month old puppy at the time, getting to socialize and play with other dogs in a wide open area for 4+ hours a day was the best thing that could have happened to her. During our vacation Don sent us lots of pictures and videos which was reassuring to know that she was having loads of fun (she would stay there forever if she could). Just as amazing was noticing just how much her obedience had improved when we picked her up! I could tell that Don was truly a kind leader to my dog, helping her understand that listening to a human and being obedient is actually fun. Of course being a puppy meant that she still tried to test my boundaries with her when we were home, but Don was really helpful in explaining how to build the leadership relationship with her. Without a doubt Don and Crafty Canine Club are among the best boarding/training facilities for dogs in the San Diego area, and will be the only place I ever let my corgi stay!
