Cozy Corner Preschool

CCP is proud to be an individualized care and learning preschool in a safe and nurturing home environment for children, ages 2+.

A typical day for your child will include structured play, free play, literacy and language development, motor and social skills, yoga, basic sign language, and STEAM projects. A well balanced Breakfast, Lunch and Snack are included. We go on many field trips into all children friendly places Rochester has to offer.

My program is designed to include both planned and spontaneous activities in response to children's interests. Experiences with music, movement, art, language and building are incorporated into daily plans.

I do not use any boxed curriculum package. Instead lesson plans are designed with each child's development in mind. There is no magical "one-style-fit-all" for children's learning and development. So at Cozy Corner Preschool, I encourage self-exploration with play and a curriculum that follows a child led structure.

Our small group size allows CCP to offer an intimate and inclusive educational environment, while also ensuring each student receives the individualized attention and the support they need.

The area used for child care is completely separated from my main home and is setup to provide a safe environment for children to learn the way they do best- by exploring the world around them.
