Countryside Association is looking for a Certified Nurse Aide/Training Specialist to fill a full-time (30-40 hours per week) job opening currently available at our Palatine site.

The Certified Nurse's Aide/Training Specialist main role is to provide basic care as a 1 to 1 Aide to adults with developmental delays, provide quality care and encourage individual's ability to maintain highest physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. This position requires attending to individual's needs including daily assistance with personal needs including; oral hygiene, feeding, dietary needs, seizures, incontinent care, use of restroom or toileting, G-Tube, tracheotomy and ventilators care, hand washing, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, etc. in keeping with the individuals' care requirements.

This position while working as a 1 to 1 Aide includes assisting with providing daily training and program delivery in our vocational setting to individuals served utilizing contract work and/or non-work activities, implement procedures, and assist with tasks to support department operations.
