Canine training and behavior modification are my passion. I have been training and helping dogs with behavioral problems for 14 years. I have been a veterinary nurse/technician for as long. I am an emergency nurse/technician at a large emergency/specialty practice.

Every dog is different. Therefore, not one technique is effective for every dog. I do believe in using the most positive techniques and redirection when trying to fix or correct a problem behavior. Dogs need clear directions. Most people do not "speak dog" or understand truly why dogs do the things they do. I love helping people learn the what and the why their doing does what he does.

If you teach a dog what you want instead of the bad behavior that the dog is doing, he is more likely to understand and repeat that new, better behavior. I offer group lessons, private lessons and a Stay and Train program. The Stay and Train program makes me do the work for you. Your dog stays in my home as a guest and works on his behavior/training needs while here. You then receive two private lessons, groups lessons and training collar or harness. This service can also be offered in a kennel environment but due to stress associated with boarding in a kennel I feel dogs do better in a home environment.
