My 10 month old and I are looking for a few little ones to come join us! I am a Registered Nurse (license is current in the state of Colorado), and I am currently in the process of becoming licensed to provide in-home child care. My nursing experience has been pediatric focused - I am so passionate about these little ones and strongly believe in providing a a positive, loving, safe, and educational environment. I have lots of age appropriate lesson plans that were created with the assistance of an Early Childhood specialist. We have an impressive in home library, and a big back yard that is ready for playtime! The house also has an alarm system which will be armed during care house. Crib nappers will sleep soundly with an Angel Care monitor :-) Organic lunch and snacks will also be served.
Weekly (or daily - I'm a new mom and understand wanting to check up on the little one!) progress notes will be sent out to mom/dad, and expect lots of art projects to go up on the fridge!
I will be able to start care with these little ones August 5, 2013. I anticipate my child care license to be effective mid-September. I have so much I would love to show you and your family and am ready to set up interviews now. I am CPR and first aid certified, and I am also qualified to administer medications, among other nursing related duties.
