About
Our Goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children. Communication between parents and provider is very important to ensure the children's needs. The children here at CCC will be taught in many areas, especially on respect for each other, adults and property. At the after school program we offer a way of structure and organizational skills to ensure safety of children and youth in our program. We also apply the SMILE rule for our Literacy program, which stands for Students Motivated In Literacy Education.
8:00am to 8:15am - Children participate in quiet activities and eat breakfast. 8:15am to 8:30am - Snack Time
8:30am-9:30am Community Time:
Children come together to welcome each other and talk briefly about the day's events. Other activities include a read-aloud & sing our Pledge of Allegiance.
9:30am-10:30am - Learning Center:
Teacher begins a theme-related activity in one of the learning centers.Children participate and explore other learning centers with theme-related experiences that change weekly.
10:30am to 11:30 - Outdoor Play:
Children enjoy structured and unstructured play outdoors. 11:30am to 12:30pm Lunch:
Children wash their hands, help set tables, and prepare to eat lunch family style.
12:30pm to 1:30pm Nap Time:
Children nap or rest quietly. As children wake up they can select from different quiet activities such as books.
1:30pm to 2:00pm Afternoon snack
2:00pm to3:00pm Learning Center:
Teacher begins a theme-related activity (changes weekly)
3:00pm to 4:00pm Outdoor Play
4:00pm to 5:00pm Community Time OR Educational Movie Time
After School Program as follows:
3:00pm to 3:15pm Snack
