About the business
Hi! I'm Brandon J. White, the Sole Proprietor of Constructive Learning Tutors.
I originally formed Constructive Learning Tutors as a response to traditional education. As a Montessori Certified teacher, I believe that the goal of education is to create an informed, competent, self-aware citizenry. For this reason, learning is about developing a life-long strategy of receiving, interpreting, retaining, and recreating new material. My goal is to help you grow as an individual and to understand yourself better.
I do this by simply getting to know each and every student as personally as possible. I employ tailored academic assessments, progress monitoring tactics, and research based tiered interventions to achieve the best possible results for each of my students.
I know that this company will grow to become a valued resource in its community by some-day offering training programs for others who want to begin a career in tutoring, parents who want to know more about how to empower their children to learn, and ultimately a resource for matching tutors to students in need based on their personalities. Before we can impact the community to change how the classroom is perceived, I need your help.
Meet with me, one on one to discuss the possibility of letting our company work for you. I'll provide you with a personalized strategy for approaching you or your child's tutoring needs and help you to understand how you learn best with a free assessment test. If you're not convinced that my methods are right for you or your family there is no obligation to continue.

Awards & Accreditations
My credentials speak for themselves. I am a certified K6 teacher in the state of North Carolina with a Master's degree in the Social Sciences from Emory University. My tutoring experiences spans the range from Elementary School to College-aged pupils.
In 2009, I taught English 100 level courses for Campbell University. I've privately tutored for many well known companies over the past decade. For many years, I was a Writing Coach for college students. After graduate school, I published scholarly articles in peer reviewed journals and delivered speeches in panels at national conventions.
In terms of mathematics, I am trained as a math interventionalist. In the public setting, I took a classroom of fourth and fifth graders from 25% grade level proficiency to 60% grade level proficiency in a year.
I'm thoroughly experience in working with students with learning disabilities, health impairments, and cognitive disorders. And I would say that my biggest strength is relating to my students.
