About
Hi there! My name is Jennifer, I'm 29 years old and I work part-time as a health coach. If you're looking for a part-time nanny whose trustworthy and artistic, that might be me! I promise to be totally present with your kid(s) while I am with them-- that means using my phone only when necessary and authentically engaging with them as much as possible. About me: I've been babysitting since I was 12! I moved here from Santa Cruz almost a year ago. While in Santa Cruz I took care of two boys ages 2.5 and 6. I've traveled a lot and also lived in Hawaii where I tutored 2 home-schooled girls ages 7-8. I can also prepare meals and do basic household work if that is needed.
I live in Black Mountain with my sweet dog and my boyfriend. We really love the area and plan to be here long term. I'm happy to work with a family in Asheville, Swannanoa, or Black Mountain.
A little bit more about my back round.... I went to Florida State University and studied theater and English. Work experience since then has included Nannying, Catering for retreats, Server at a restaurant, and working as an administrative assistant at a health retreat center. I've focused on learning about holistic health, and currently work as a nutritionist in Asheville. I also have a private coaching practice. With this work I get to create my own schedule, so I'm really flexible! I love spending time in nature, doing art projects, reading, and watching the occasional good movie.
