CCA's curriculum focuses on the whole child. We have a literature-based curriculum which employs a wide variety children's books. All subjects and basic skills are centered around literature and integrated throughout the curriculum. The NAEYC (National Association for the Education of the Young Child), as well as the Georgia Early Learning Standards (GELS), are incorporated into the curriculum. Through our advanced technology and developmental programs, we seek to increase academic opportunities through technology-based programming. I must take the opportunity to thank the center and most importantly Ms. Briana for the outstanding work you have done with Our son. Today, I was informed that Kevin will be receiving an award for his remarkable improvement in math. He is the only child thus far in the second grade that can count money, as well as, change back from a purchase with miniumum assistance to none. Not sure who was more excited, the teacher(s) or me, but what I can say is that Ms. Briana you are outstanding in your expertise of teaching , caring and having patience.
Kevin even told his teacher that you were the "best teacher ever". Glad he said it, but the enthusiasm behind it may have sparked a little jealousy with the teachers (smile)...
