I have been a foster parent licensed as a special needs home for the past 9 years. My foster license is now closed but I am still current with a level one fingerprint clearance card as well as up to date on my CPR and first aid. In my last year of fostering children I had 8 kids total 24/7. I am very capable of multi tasking and helping the kids develop and gain self confidence. I absolutely love kids and enjoy making a difference in their growth. I used to run a daycare from my home for 7 years. My daycare kids left recognizing and writing their names, address and phone number, knowing their numbers, letters, colors, patterns,days of the week and months of the year. In my rates I include meals and snacks, preschool curriculum and occasional outings to break up the routine and offer educational experiences with parent permission, of course. Right now I have one 2 year old little girl. When her brother is born I am looking at taking him as well. I only have openings for 2 more children either toddler or preschool age. Since I will already have an infant I am not looking at getting another one at this time or only temporarily until he is born and of age to come to daycare.
