It's never too early for your child to start the learning experience! My name is Santa Garcia and I have cared for children for twenty-five years, including teaching early education in a commercial daycare setting. I am State Registered, CPR/First Aid Certified, Background Checked, and I regularly attend Continuing Education courses to keep me updated on the best way to care for your children.

Here at my daycare, Close to Home Kiddie Care, open from 7 AM to 6 PM, I teach letters, numbers, reading, writing, arts and crafts, and other fun exercises through creative and stimulating activities in a comfortable home setting. Why wait for elementary school? For years I have been sending children onward to elementary school with the ability to write, understand their colors, shapes, numbers, the alphabet, and other important tools like social interaction and manners. I also have a large shaded backyard with playground equipment and games, with plenty of space for them to run around.

Meals including breakfast, a hot, nutritious lunch, and mid-morning and afternoon snacks are provided. No registration fee is required, and if you so choose to inquire further into my daycare, I will gladly provide more information over the phone and a sit-down interview at my home, located off Nacodoches Road by Wurzbach Parkway in the Northeast area.

A couple of my oldest have just gone off to school this new school year, so I currently have two openings for 18 months and older, as well as one opening for after school children. The rate for after school care is $60 a week. Through Oak Grove Elementary they can be dropped off by the bus across the street from my home.
