Claire has pet sit for us several times. My cats love her, even my shy cat that hides from most people when they come over. Shy cat comes right out to see Claire! I was worried that cat would hide until a pet sitter left and by that time the other cat would eat all the food, but shy cat would come out right away when Claire came! That was comforting to me.

I was in one heck of a bind over a holiday when a family emergency came up. My two friends that have watched the dogs were unavailable and I was left with no care for the "chew crew". I contacted Claire hoping she had availability to help out. Every aspect of coordinating their care was done through phone calls and email (we were already out of town). My biggest concern was that our dog who is generally afraid of any stranger would give Claire fits! Bella has been known to torture sitters in the past by going out in the yard and not coming back in, hiding in the house and not going to her crate, etc. We arranged for Claire to meet the dogs via a friend. He had been on the receiving end of "Bella Torture" in the past. He reported that as soon as Claire was in the house Bella plowed her way through the other dogs for her share of Claire's attention. What a testimonial to Claire's ability, personality and the way she relates to the animals. As I am writing this review Claire and I have yet to meet face to face. We have talked twice on the phone and corresponded via email. I took a shot based on my gut feel from her credentials and a phone discussion. I am thrilled I did. I now have another go to person for dog care! Thanks Claire. I know it was probably concerning for you as you didn't know me either and our "meeting" was probably the least conventional you have encountered! I believe this is the beginning of a new and long friendship and who knows we might actually meet face to face LOL! Thanks again you took a large amount of the worry out of the situation by caring for the dogs so I could focus on family.

My mother recently passed away and so we brought the pups with us hoping to find someone to watch them. We tried several and Claire was the only one who would do it. She is very professional and loved all 3 of our pups as if they were hers. When we left them not one cared. I know for a fact my pups were well taken care of. When we visit the area and need a sitter she will be the one. She is one you can trust. Her prices are great. To us the main thing was we did not have to worry about our pups at all. Keep up the great work and thank you from us and the 3 pups.
