I have been a private tutor and classroom teacher working with children and families for over 15 years. I am trained in the Orton- Gillingham and the Wilson Reading and Writing System. I provide encouragement, guidance and the right tools with care, patience and fun. I will work on providing a specialized program to fit and address the learning needs of your child. I also have an enrichment program to make sure that homework , writing projects, and test prep is managed successfully.

While I cannot speak to Christine's skills as a tutor, I can speak to her character. Christine has shown that she is distrustful, evasive and dishonest particularly where money is concerned. More importantly, she has done nothing to rectify a problem of her own creation now, two years ago. In short, I bailed out a sobbing friend when her car was repo'd. Google it. Have I been repaid? No. Was I stupid? You bet. Is this the appropriate venue to share this information? Absolutely not. However, I am hoping that this public post will prevent other "friends" from making the same mistake.

Christine tutored two of my kids when they were 8 and 6 and she made them excited to read. Her gentle demeanor and kindness went a long way in inspiring them to get excited about a book. She was always super flexible with ever-changing schedules and very helpful in other areas like math.

Miss Christine is a one of a kind tutor! She tutored my 10-year old (4th grader) for one entire school year and the results were amazing. She worked directly "one on one" with my daughter's school teacher (via email) for class lessons, what to work on, where to improve, etc. She gave my daughter academic skills, but more importantly taught her confidence and believed in her, which helped tremendously with her studies. If we lived on near Coast, she would still be our tutor! This is a tutor who cares, who knows the ropes, and will help your child in all areas -
