About
My home is full of educational activities and our day is centered on learning, nature, music, arts and crafts. I play the 12 string guitar for the children and have a huge selection of activities including singing, use of hand instruments and drums, children's yoga, painting, nature crafts, writing the alphabet, reading time. Outdoor fun includes plenty of room to run, play and explore in our fenced play area abutting conservation land. Daily nature walks include birding, looking for tracks in the snow, children's garden and feeding the birds. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided. I have an excellent, dependable work history, and love caring for children 12 months and up. My own children are grown, a 25-year-old daughter graduated magna cum laude in Engineering and a 19-year-old son who is in college. My home is located on a quiet street, with beautiful fenced back play yard. I am fully licensed in childcare and a Registered Nurse, certified in CPR/First Aid, certified Swim School Instructor, recent continuing education in Nutrition in Childhood, Diversity in Learning/Intelligence, etc. Maximum of 6 children during the school year with an assistant college grad who has worked for me for 4 years! I have excellent references and over 20 years experience.
