I have many years of experience working as a babysitter and part-time nanny for infants through school-age children. I am also the mother of a 2-year-old boy. My goal is to provide each child I care for the level of care that you would give your own child/children. I enjoy working with children and spent a few years working for a children's theater company as well.

Right now I'm doing childcare part-time/occasional, but I'm open to a full-time/part-time long-term position that is a good fit for your family and mine starting in January 2013!

I am not a TV babysitter! I believe in fully engaging children in activities that will challenge them to learn in fun and new ways. My mom raised me to believe that even the simplest things can be learning experiences.

My schedule is flexible. I'm willing to watch your child/children in your home or mine. I'm available for weekends/overnights as well with some advanced notice.

Special Note: I have firsthand experience dealing with food allergies. I am allergic to gluten and have to follow a strict gluten free diet. My son is also dairy allergic. I understand the issues of cross contamination, reading labels, understanding ingredients that may contain any allergens, etc.

Your child/children's safety is my number one priority. I have obtained my CPR certification. I am planning to pursue my First Aid certification in the near future as well.
