Hello! I am a mother of 3 and I just completed my first year of watching children and staying at home! I am a former elementary teacher of 14 years, 7 of which were here in Wake County. I have really enjoyed being at home and watching children.
As I mentioned, I have three children of my own. This year my oldest will start kindergarten and my middle child will be attending preschool 5 days/week. My youngest is almost a year old. Currently I am watching one child who will be turning 2 in the fall. I have one full time spot available which I am interested in filling ASAP.
I love to keep our days filled with fun outings while still providing a structured and predictable schedule. We live in a very child-friendly neighborhood with lots of small children and several nearby parks that are in walking distance. When the weather is nice, we like to take walks and play outside. I also enjoy taking the kids to the library for story time, museums, parks, on play dates, etc. I love exposing the children to different places and the interaction and socialization opportunities that it provides for them.
