I am a licensed childcare provider with 25+ years of experience. 16 of those years doing Family Childcare. I have a B. A. in Early Childhood. It is my goal to provide families with a family childcare that can offer a comfortable balance between a daycare center & a babysitter. Parents can feel confident that in choosing my childcare program; their child will not be left to watch TV & play with a box of toys all day. While I do integrate curriculum, arts & crafts and a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, during the day, the emphasis is on play. The schedule, programs and activities I offer gears more towards the individual child, where there is opportunity for each child to be him / herself, explore and learn at their own pace within the realm of their own interests. The children are also offered, what I feel even the best daycare center cannot duplicate, the warm loving atmosphere of home. It is very important for the success of the children that we cooperate and share ideas to support their development.
