Children's Nature Academy

Location:
Our program is a State Licensed in Home Facility located in the city of Pico Rivera, California. (Off Paramount Blvd between Whittier and Washington). We are qualified teachers in the field of Early Childhood Education with many years of experience teaching children fun age appropriate curriculum to develop their individual skills.

Providing a safe program that encourages children to explore, be creative and develop life skills in an inspired nature preschool Where Learning Bee-comes Fun!

At Children's Nature Academy, we believe that children are continuous learners who acquire skills through experiences using their senses within their surroundings. Nature plays an important role as we are humans with questions of where, why & how. Every challenge or obstacle helps a child develop & understand in order to prepare them for life as it evolves.

About:
We are a Program inspired by Forest School, Waldorf, Reggio & Montessori. The child to teacher ratio is 7:1 providing a high quality class experience. Our curriculum is emergent constructivist, focusing on the child's interests and following seasonal themes. Our DLI (Dual Language Immersion) in Spanish is intergraded throughout the day. A child's week consists of: ESTREAM (Environment, Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts & Mathematic) activities. We focus on emotions during social circle time & learning stations.

Enrollment:
Our Pre-K Program is year round and we reach out to interested families as spots become available. The children enrolled are Pre-K 2 to 6 years old. School Age 6-10 years old after school and for school breaks (Spring, Autumn & Summer). Please see our website for any possible Infant openings 6 months-2 years old.

Tuition Includes:
Nutritious snacks, personal water cup, baby wipes, ointment, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, curriculum, events & most field trips.
