Children's House Montessori Daycare

I am delighted to welcome you and your family to my Montessori home day care! Here at Children's House Montessori Day Care I offer over 20 years of experience teaching Montessori to preschoolers, toddlers, and infants. I am trained by the Association Montessori Internationale and I have two decades of child care and early childhood education experience. I completed my AMI Montessori training in 2000, immigrated to the US from Sri Lanka in 2005, and worked as a Montessori teacher at a Montessori school in DC until I started my own daycare. I am also the mother of a ten year old daughter.

While giving the children a warm, loving, nurturing homey environment we also provide the structure that allows your children to flourish at their fullest potential. And we will prepare them for school! Every day we provide a caring, personalized and enriched environment where children learn with joy. Our goal is to improve each child's language, physical, social, and emotional, and cognitive development. Your child will be actively involved in a daily routine including activities such as circle time, story time, music, colors, shapes,123's, ABC's, puzzles, books, Arts and Crafts, and exercise and outdoor play.

We also provide healthy food and snacks twice a day.
We recommend that parents tour our daycare prior to enrolling. You can call/ text us to schedule a visit and learn about our program.
