Children's House At Holly Hill Montessori

Children's House at Holly Hill Montessori is an eleven-month Montessori program. Eleven monthly payments include milk, AM & PM snacks, all learning materials, musical instruments, art and crafts, and field trips. Our program is taught by a dedicated, AMS trained Montessori guide with over 15 years of teaching experience... and she absolutely LOVES what she does!

CHHH has a beautifully prepared learning environment. Our indoor environment is designed to meet the ever-changing needs, interests, abilities, and development of children ages 2 1/2 - 6. Though CHHH is a licensed large family child care, we exceed the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements for state-approved Montessori schools.

Children's House at Holly Hill Montessori is dedicated to offering a wealth of learning opportunities that awaken and nurture the child's curious spirit within a warm and peaceful family environment. We feel deeply that the child is truly a miraculous being. Our role as the adult is to cultivate the "whole child." We do this, in part, by encouraging the children to explore the wonders around them, and by supporting them throughout their many discoveries. CHHH Montessori is a loving environment where children- through freedom, independence, and a well-prepared environment- develop social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative skills.

Children are naturally full of curiosity. They want to learn as much as they can about their world. CHHH children have many opportunities to explore nature in our outdoor environment. Our playground is surrounded by holly bushes and evergreen trees. In the warmer months, children can enjoy the beauty of colorful flowers and blossoming trees. They also get to observe some of Montgomery County's native creatures- groundhogs, squirrels, deer, rabbits and several species of birds.
