At Children's Garden Academy children are respected and valued. We honor each child by actively acknowledging and celebrating their differences through our individualized care.Every Child is treated like a member of our family and given the space to be themselves. Our goal is to create an environment where children can feel free to express themselves, ask questions, and explore. Children's Garden Academy's learning environment is centered upon the Social Cultural theory of learning. The sociocultural theory of learning was developed by psychologist Vygotsky in 1962. This theory is based on the idea that social interactions serve as the foundation for learning. Vygotsky believed strongly in the idea “that community plays a central role in the process of "making meaning."As such, here at Children’s Garden Academy, we emphasize the importance of learning from each other, and the environment as a whole.
